Supported systems

Model Train Script allows you to control the Esu ECoS, Zimo MX10 or any of a Z21 (or compatible) command station.

Z21

Model Train Script supports all feedback buses of the Z21: R-bus, L-bus and C-bus. RailCom works over LocoNet or C-bus.

There a multiple manufacturers who are supporting the Z21 protocol like Roco, Zimo, Yamorc, DigiKeijs or mXion. All systems can be used, however ModelTrainScript is tested with a Roco Z21.

Out of the box a Z21 is configured to use a static IP Address. For a better experience you might want to connect your command station to your router. A good tutorial movie can be found here on YouTube.

Esu ECoS

For feedback the EcosLink (CAN) bus is supported, other buses like LocoNet or S88 are currently not implemented. ModelTrainScript is tested with an ECoS 2.1 command station.

PC Control needs to be enabled in the settings of your ECoS.

Zimo ZCAN 2.0

Model Train Script supports the Zimo MX10 with its ZCAN20 protocol. Currently only Roco 10808 on CAN are supported.

The ZCAN implementation is currently in Beta. Please contact us if you experience any issues.
