Vehicles
The vehicle list allows you to register your locomotives and their functions. These vehicles can be used afterwards while controlling your layout manually via the throttle or while using automation for your layout.
For ECoS vehicles have to be imported from the command station but can be edited afterwards.

Configuration
Every locomotive need to have a name and the dcc address configured. Optionally you can add an image for easy recognition of your vehicle.
Tags will help you keeping an overview of your vehicles.
ModelTrainScript supports 14, 28 and 128 speedsteps.
Functions
A function of a locomotive requires a name, function index, icon and type. The type of a function can either be a toggle or a moment. The difference is that a toggle will permanently set the state (for example for lights) while a moment gives a short pulse (for example for horns).
You can order the functions in any way your prefer, the throttle will display the functions in your preferred order.
Profiles
Profiles are shortcuts to set a vehicle's state. In a profile, you can assign speed, direction, and vehicles. Use the set profile action to apply a profile to the selected locomotive in your automation scripts or set the a profile manually via the throttle.
Flags
Flags connected to the vehicle are automatically set when the locomotive is selected in an automation script.
Notes
Notes is a free text field that can be used to keep track of vehicle specifics like model number or used decoder.
